Itinerary
Day 1 : Luang Prabang – Soun Luang.

Pick up at the Hotel. Transfer to Ban Soun Luang by minivan, 30 minutes drive on exciting curving road, surrounded by steep mountains and terraced rice fields. |

Arrived where the only means transport by foot, we start trek from Soun Luang Village to Tin Pha Village with its stills houses. We will meet the colorful Khmu tribe. |

Visiting Huoy Fai Village, inhabited by the Khmu Lor, where pigs, chickens, dogs and ducks are scuffling around freely among the wooden houses and the children look curiously at these people. We enjoy our lunch here in local house.
PM: After a rest in Ban Huoy Fai Village we start our 2 hours moderate and adventure trek up to mountain ridge then through a green forest. After descend we again move upward to Sae Waterfall, afterward take motorboat upstream to the remote village of Ansavanh, where the minivan waiting to take us back to Mahout Lodge, as you will see through the minivan window, the land scape is dominated by scenic mountaintops and rice terraces covering the slopes. |

Day 2 : Elephant Bating – Luang Prabang.

Minivan transfer to Pig Noy Village, which inhabited by Yuon minority group. Then we start Bamboo Rafting downstream on slow Nam Khan pass through green hills and passing some Villages you float down in the direction of Luang Prabang. Only 2hr rapids are along the way and the trip is perfect for beginners and people who just want to have an impression about the real river Bamboo Rafting. |
