What is a Mahout?
Mahout means the (Elephant keeper or Elephant driver)
A fantastic chance to get to know the real profession of Mahouts, find out what they do everyday for their elephants and the secret of becoming a Mahout! Start with an instructional introduction about elephants, their healthcare-, and the verbal and body language to communicate with elephants followed by “Hands on Practice”.

ITNERARY
Day 1

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to All Lao Elephant Camp |

Arrival at All Lao Elephant Camp |
| 10:30 |
Register and receive mahout suit (Clothing) |
| 11:00 |
Learn about elephant information and elephant commands Introduction to the mahout and his elephant. Enjoy your elephant safari 1.30 hours into the jungle and Nam Kham River, feeding your elephant as bananas. |

.Lao – style lunch at elephant camp |
| 14:30 |
Enjoy swimming and tubing on the Nam Khan River, visit Henry Mohout’s gravesite (The first European to rediscover Angkor Wat) |
| 15:30 |
Enjoy elephant drive, and take your elephant to their sleeping place in the jungle and enjoy activities with a mahout guide (elephant driver) |
| 16:00 |
Visit the Ban Noon of Lao village which is inhabited by Lao Loom. |
| 18:00 |
Lao – style dinner and overnight at our Elephant |
Day 2
| 06:30 |
Collect the elephant from the jungle |
| 07:00 |
Take the Elephant for ‘Bathing ‘on the Nam Khan River |
| 08:00 |
Have breakfast and prepare a bag for a hill tribe trek to villages
(Khmu and Hmong) and lunch at the Khmu village |
| 16:00 |
Transfer back to your hotel by minibus |
* Or we prepare Bamboo Rafting / River trip / Kayaking / Rafting on Nam Khan River, visit hill tribe villages.
